Kathleen Donovan hails from a long line of Irish storytellers. Family tradition has always included made up tales of wonder involving the family children. Now that she is retired from teaching and real estate, she is very active in community theater and sword fights with a cutlass at Celtic festivals.
Fromage is her debut novel.

Kathleen has always had animals and continues to be passionate about all animal species. An avid bird watcher, Kathleen loves to watch the birds and regularly travels to go bird watching. She has also been a horseback rider, riding until she hit 79. She keeps a small menagerie of pets, including her Himalayan cats, a female Eclectus parrot named Diva, several swans, peacocks, and her two dogs.
Kathleen has done community theater almost all her life, staring in many productions in the Northern Virginia theater community. Along the way, she picked up sword fighting, and began to do sword fighting performances at Celtic festivals.
Many of Kathleen's stories have been inspired by her various travels around the world. Scotland in particular remains a favorite of Kathleen's. Kathleen can often be found traveling with her wonderful husband Tom.
